I downloaded the Paint Pad Lite app and I was working on it then when I went to save a picture I was editing, it froze. I tried closing it with the red button, I tried hitting escape, tried the Windows CTR+ALT+Delete. I tried deleting the App I tried Force Close I tried dragging the App to the Trashcan from my Dock. I don't know what else to try! I can't even shut down my computer because it won't close out! HEEEELP!!!

What you do is go to apple icon top screen click force quit and u see what apps say not responsing u click on it and this wil dissapear the apps that is frozen on ur screen and try shut down ur comp normal if doesnt work then hold power button down at least 30 secs this is force shutdown will then close and then u power up and then see if goin back to normal....good luck😐

The app is frozen. Force quit doesn't work anymore.
There are though 2 ways to do it.
1. Logout of user account and try restarting the system.
2. Press the power button till it shutsdown and then restart the system.
There are other ways to restart the system by terminal too if by chance both of the ways doesn't work.
Try pressing command q. If that doesn't work, try holding down the power button on your Mac.
1: Command tab to the Finder
2: Apple Menu > Force Quit > whatever.
Or press and hold the power button down for a hardware shutdown

An easy way to restart is to logout from the user account
Doing a correct Force Quit is easier and more to the point: Option+Command+ESC, or click on the in the upper left-hand corner and click on Force Quit.

I just had a force quit problem and it just didnt work until I try the logout, is just another way of the force quit doesn't work

Just click on your username on the right top menu bar, and then click "Login Window..." and login with your "root" user, fill in your root password, and you can shutdown your mac.
