how do I update Migration asst 1.0.6 on an OS X 10.4.11

in trying to migrate data from my OSX 10.4.11 to my new Mac OSX desktop, the new computer is indicating a need to update Migration Assistant...having difficulty doing that...Mig Asst is version 1.0.6

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
