Synching Issues...Help!

I have been trying for hours to get my iPad calendar and I phone to synch together.

For example, my iPad has all of my contacts with their addresses.... iPhone only has their phone numbers.

Help!!!! I have been on the cloud, checked settings....

The most important step is to isolate where the break is happening. For example, if you create a contact or calendar event on your iPhone, does that event show up on iCloud.com? etc.
