I cannot access the Icloud apps on my Ipad

I received an e-mail that I was selected to test the Beta for Icloud Iwork app's. I go to Icloud in Safari and all I get is.

Setup Icloud on this device - It is setup

Install find My Iphone - Installed and working

Install Find my friends - Installed and working

I do not see the mail app or notes or numbers or pages or keynote

I can logon on my PC and all the app's are there including the Beta Pages, Numbers and Keynote.

Also If I use Chrome to access Icloud on my Ipad I get in and see all the app's just like my PC.

Unfortunately when I start numbers it says that this Chrome browser is not supported. It is the latest version.

I have Ipad retina display model # ME392LL/A

Running Version 6.1.3 (10B329)

Ipad 4-OTHER, iOS 6.1.3

You cannot access iCloud.com with Safari on the iPad. Some browsers like Chrome, that can identify as desktop browsers will let you access your iCloud.com account on the iPad, with varying degrees of success.

There is no need to access your iCloud.com account on the iPad because all of the information that is in iCloud.com is already on your iPad. If you don't have Pages, Numbers and Keynote, it doesn't matter whether you can create documents in the cloud anyway, because there is no app on the iPad to sync to and access them.

Thank you,

That clears it up some. The iWork for iOS Beta is completely on the web. I was asked to try the Beta and yes I understand that Apple wants to sell the apps for download but they are also offering it on the web for some reason like maybe devices with low memory or people that want to work completely from the cloud. I do think that the pricepoint on the apps is great. I would like to work on the iPad iWork for iOS completely from the cloud. So yes both of you have shed a great deal of light as to why it is not working. I think their is a resolution for this. I just need to find it. Until then i will be working in the Beta on a Mac or PC.

Thank you for your help.

I think it is a safe bet that the iOS apps will always be required to access your iWork in the Cloud documents on an iOS device. Reading between the lines at iWork for iCloud you'll see the image of the iPhone & iPad labelled as using iWorks for iOS, not using a web browser. On a Windows PC/Mac/Linux(?) you can use the web based editors. The iOS iWorks apps already store their documents in iCloud, and the Mac-based apps can access these too.
