I have just installed a new modem in a french company. 20pcs and 5 macs works perfectly excepted a 2008 mac intel g5.
It freezes when i plug the network cable

What OSX version is it running?

It is an 2006 mac
OS version : 10.6.6
I have two modems : an old Orange Pro modem from the french Orange FAI and a new Zyxel SB3300 modem
Zyxel modem freezes the 2006 mac when I plug the ethernet cable.

Dec 1, 2014 10:41 AM in response to 360hdby BDAqua,I understand IPv6 is needed in the EU, but might try disabling in in Network prefs for a test with the Zyxel modem.

MacBooks constantly freezing after new router installed
I have ever disabled IPv6 in the router and it doesn't work
But, now, i have disabled IPv6 in Ethenet 1 , Ethernet 2 and Firewire mac settings
