Q: Hello!

I've lost my project in final cut x. when I opened the program I saw that my project is missing. I resolved it, but right after that my program unexpected closed. When I opened it again, I could not see my project anymore. Likewise I cannot to open a file because it says me that "the document Current version.fcpproject could not be opened. Open the document from within FCP" How can I open it within the FCP? Thank you!

Final Cut Pro X, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

For FCPX projects, you do not use the Finder window to go to a project and open it, you must launch FCPX, then show the project pane and all the projects will be listed there. The film reel icon in the lower left corner of the FCPX window hides and shows the list of projects. As well, the hard drive listed in the project pane has a show and hide arrow, be sure that is pointing down.

If your project is not in the proper Final Cut Projects folder in the user Movies folder (or in the root window of an external drive), it will not show in the projects pane.
