why wont itunes let me sync my ipod library to my iphone library

i accidentally deleted my entire iPhone library when i tried to sync it onto a new computer so ive been trying to sync my iPod's library onto my iPhone but it tells me that i cant do that and it wont let me.

iPod touch (4th generation)

That's correct you can only sync to one itunes library.
