Find My Friend Label unaccessable
The FMF app shows the work location of my wife, but it does not allow me to assign a label to that location. The "Label" button is grayed out. Can anyone solve this riddle?

Nice link to the FMF app page on iTunes. But I don't see an answer to my question.
So you didn't see the link to FMF support site? Which is were you need to go since you're using a 3rd party app.
You do realize that Find My Friends is not a 3rd party app. The original poster is exactly where he needs to be for support.
In any case, the actual answer to the question is that labeling will be unavailable whenever the location accuracy is not high enough. (Poor cell or GPS reception on the located device)
