loosing contacts

I have just had my iphone 4s replaced under warranty and the problem is that i keep loosing the names in my contacts when i conect to the wifi. I am presuming that this is icloud related but i can figure it out.

Each time i have restored manually from a back up which is a real pain.

Any ideas?
