gta iv wont work on paralells windows 7 [macbook pro]

ok so i thought id buy windows 7 ultimate and paralells desktop 7. because of the lack of games on mac, in particulat i wanted grand theft auto IV

i went through it all seamlessley and installed steam, i then downloaded gta episodes from liberty city.. i then waited ages . finaly! downloaded. i was all like wheeyyy!!

then i clicked on play and went through registration then i got this!

what can i do?

specs !

mbp 13"

2.7ghz i7

16gb ram

512 gb samsung ssd

512 video ram

any help would be appreciated!😟

Games don't work well on Windows that is install in a Virtual Machine. No virtual machine program give the VM OS enough video performance to run correctly. Your error is about sound so do you have sound in any Windows program?

It would be best to install windows into a Boot Camp partition for games or just buy a Windows PC for your games.

unfortunately i am not minted so i cant buy another pc.

i also downlded movie maer and it says something like cant open because theres no sound?

Do you have sound in Windows at all. Install the parallels add-on drives. In VMware fusion these are called VMware Tools. In VirtualBox they are called Guest Additions. They install sound and other drivers so the VM OS can access some of the host hardware or be able to interact with that hardware.
