Jul 24, 2013 1:39 PM in response to .....xfdbby AAN2,Sounds like it could be a network connection issue. Try the following troubleshooting steps, and then contact your wireless carrier.
1. Restart the phone. (hold down the sleep/wake/lock button and slide to power off)
2. Reset the device and the network settings. To reset the device hold down the sleep/wake and home buttons until you see an apple logo. To reset network settings go into Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
3. If that fails, create a backup of your device using either iTunes or iCloud and restore the device as new. After restoring it as new, test the issue out. If it still persists, it is either a hardware issue (unlikely if you can connect to actual wifi) or an issue with your wireless service provider.

Jul 24, 2013 1:47 PM in response to .....xfdbby AAN2,It's really starting to sound like a wireless carrier issue. I'd give them a call and see if there's anything they can do.

Jul 24, 2013 1:49 PM in response to .....xfdbby AAN2,Who's your wireless carrier? (AT&T, Virgin Mobile, Sprint, etc.)
-
Jul 24, 2013 1:49 PM in response to .....xfdbby KiltedTim,Contact your carrier. If it's working in one location, but not in another, then it's a carrier problem.
