Today my iPhone 5 showed an update for my Apple Store App. Doesn't install. Please help.

Today (7/24/2013) my iPhone 5 showed an update available for the Apple Store App itself. I attempted to download and install the update. It would get part way through installation and freeze. I tried shutting off my iPhone and restarting it. Same result. Can somebody give me a suggestion? Thank you.

Hi JDandMcGee,

If you hold down on the app icon for a few seconds until it starts to jiggle, is there an "X" in the upper left corner? If so, tap on it to delete the app, then reinstall from the App Store.
