Speedtouch 330 Modem on Tiscali Broadband

I didnt realise that Speedtouch 330 Modem is not supported on the new Macbook. Speedtouch says that though they support the latest version of the MacOS, they do not provide support on the 'Core Duo' models.

Can anyone suggest me how to connect to the Internet using an alternative (reasonably priced and reliable) USB ADSL modem that works both on a Mac and a PC? I dont really want to buy a wireless modem.

I have a Dell Latitude D600 as well and any investment I make...I wish to be sure that it works on this as well along with my Macbook

I was so fascinated by the Macbook in the apple store that I bought it. I hope this isnt the beginning of a long list of 'compatibility' issues.

Please help me guys

Why don't you look at an Ethernet modem so both of your computers can use Internet at the same time? Many people like LinkSys and they do seem to be reasonably priced…

Hey… I've just realised that LinkSys don't seems to make ADSL modems. Anyway, I use a 3Com OfficeConnect ADSL Wireless 11g Firewall Router which wasn't at all expensive and has worked extremely reliably for me.
