Time Machine not restoring files

I have changed my Mac's name by doing a full reinstall of the OS, as changing the name via Apple > System Preferences... > Users & Groups aswell as Terminal > /Users wouldn't change the name.

I have plugged my external USB drive into the Mac USB port and selected Time Machine > Enter Time Machine, and I can't select the most recent backup of 27/06/2013?
