Jul 24, 2013 10:02 PM in response to dwighthomer47by CorynneV,I am only aware of permanently deleting apps by opening iTunes on a computer. The steps to doing so are as follows:
Open iTunes, click apps, right click on app and select delete, then confirm.

Jul 24, 2013 10:20 PM in response to dwighthomer47by stevejobsfan0123,On your iPad, tap and hold on the app icon until it starts to jiggle. Then tap the black X that appears in the upper left to delete the app.

Jul 24, 2013 10:34 PM in response to CorynneVby dwighthomer47,Thanks. I rarely use PC. I never will understand why Apple does not have the ability for iPad o stand line with no PC support. If no idea comes up I will use your suggestion when I find my laptop! Thanks again.

Jul 24, 2013 10:36 PM in response to stevejobsfan0123by CorynneV,I did read the ENTIRE post. The only way to delete in iTunes is to access a computer. No need to get snappy.

Jul 24, 2013 10:36 PM in response to dwighthomer47by stevejobsfan0123,My suggestion is for the iPad. You don't need a computer.
CorynneV posted how to remove apps from iTunes, but ignored the part of your post where you also wanted to remove them from your iPad. That's what I covered in my earlier post. You do this directly on the iPad.

Jul 24, 2013 10:40 PM in response to stevejobsfan0123by CorynneV,Bro, chill. I at least addressed the question. If you remove the apps from iTunes and then sync the ipad with your library you will no longer have the deleted apps.

Jul 24, 2013 10:50 PM in response to dwighthomer47by King_Penguin,You can't currently permanently delete any item from your purchase history, you can delete an app from your iPad by pressing and holding an app, and you can select and delete them from the Apps part of your computer's iTunes so that they can't be synced back. Apart from that you can hide them as described on the page that you posted from so that they don't show in the Purchased tab for re-downloading (hiding doesn't currently work directly on devices that are on iOS 6, though it should work via a computer's iTunes)

Aug 13, 2013 3:58 AM in response to dwighthomer47by olivierpar,With last versions of itunes when you tried to delete an app a pop up window informed you that this app will be deleted from all sync devices.
Now, with itunes 11, the pop up message says that any sync device will be affected by this suppression...
Is it possible to configure itunes 11 in order to delete apps from sync devices when you delete them from itunes?
