My time machine is giving me an error.

My time machine is giving me this error: The backup disk image “/Volumes/Steven C's Time Capsul/Linda’s MacBook Pro.sparsebundle” is already in use.It had been backing up fine for years and now all of a sudden it is not. I'm not sure how to fix it. Thanks
