Q: I hit the download button for mountain lion and nothing happens...?

I have just purchased Mountain Lion.  The button on the sales page changed from "purchase" to "download", but nothing happens when I hit download.  I tried it over the course of 2 days now.  What can I do?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

    Enable the debug menu in the Appstore using Terminal. Copy the following command and Pate it into your terminal. Hit return. Exit Terminal:

     

    defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool true ; exit

     

     

    Launch the App Store, from the debug Menu > Clear Cookies (if available), Reset Application.

     

    Subsequently scan for available updates.

     

    Change true to false to disable.
