Instrument not found

I think that the loops index may need to be rebuilt.

Take a look at this article and see how it works for you named Logic Pro and Express: Rebuilding the Loop Index found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3443

On OS X Lion and OS X Mountain Lion

1. Quit Logic if it is open.
2. In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder.
3. Type /Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index/ in the "Go to the folder" field. Note: GarageBand 1 and Jampacks 1-3 used a different location. See Where loops get installed for more information.
4. Press the Go button.
5. Place the Search Index files in the Trash.
6. Open Logic.
7. In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder.
8. Type /Library/Audio/ in the "Go to the folder" field.
9. Press the Go button.
10. Drag the folder /Library/Audio/Apple Loops/ from the finder into the Loop Browser in Logic. Enter your administrator password if prompted.

Did you download the additional content using the Logic Pro menu item Logic Pro/Download Additional Content

The content the OP is refering to.. are not Apple Loops.. They are EXS Instrument Presets... and so rebuilding the Loop index will not help.

As an aside...

It's a little frustrating when "Community Specialists" from Apple do finally make a few posts here but then their answers are inaccurate or very generic in nature... Users tend to rely more on and believe "official' answers from Apple staff rather than those made by fellow users... and when those official answers are wrong, then this leads to mistrust and doubt.

While the presence of any Apple Staff is welcome here...truly.... I wish real Logic Pro Support Staff from Apple who actually use Logic in a professional capacity... would post here instead... but hey, you can't win them all i guess...
