I am looking for extention/driver for USB Device 802.11n WLAN Adapter for OS9,

this is what the Powermac is looking for, the product involved is:

Mini USB Wireless Lan 802.11N Adapter - 1T1R (150Mbps),

Hi Joseph,

It is not unusual to find USB WLAN devices that are not compatible with Mac OS 9 (because the necessary driver software is not available). Usually, Mac OS X 10.3 or higher is required. One way around this would be to use a wireless Ethernet bridge (such as Netgear WNCE 2001 or Linksys WET 610N) connected to the Ethernet port of the computer. A wireless Ethernet bridge does not (normally) need special drivers, and can thus be used under almost any operating system. An external wireless Ethernet bridge is fine for a desktop computer, but not perfect for a notebook.

Hi Jan,

It works very well,

I had to use newer Powermac laptop Year 2000 to be able to select

the network for the Netgear WNCE 2001, and than connect to the old 6360 Mac machine, which has many upgrades, including USB, FireWire and faster processor etc.

All worked great.
