New to iPhone. I have it backed up to my iMac 🙂 at home but would like to back it up to my Windows 7 😟 Laptop at work. Any problems in doing that ? Should I create another Apple ID for the Windows 7 😟 Laptop ?

You can only sync to one itunes account. IF you try to backup/sync to your work PC it will erase everything on your phone and you'll have nothing to backup to.
Stick to your MAC.
