Problem restoring purchased apps

Well, you could try downloading the apps onto iTunes and syncing them over that way.

Go into the iTunes Store on your computer, look for the quick links on the right of the screen, click on purchased, and then click on Apps (towards the top).

Then click the cloud icon on the bottom right that says download all. From there, all you have to do is sync them to your device.

If you have a computer with iTunes, the easiest way to update is to restore the device as new.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP. Backing up will save your contacts, photos, calenders, etc.

After you restore as new, you can then restore from your backup. This is one of the ways that people update (and I do it quite a bit).

Try going to the previously purchased pane. It's located in the App Store.

Click the "..." and then click purchased.

If the apps don't show up, then make sure that you are signed into the Apple ID that you purchased the apps in to begin with. Remember, purchases are locked to Apple ID's, so if you've made a new one since purchasing the apps and have signed in with that in your app store, you will need to either sign into your old Apple ID in Settings > iTunes and App Store or you will need to repurchase the apps.
