Hi guys,
anyone else having trouble viewing downloaded iTunes Theatrical Trailers? They get the QuickTime icon on them and not the thumbnail, and when it comes to playback, they just show a black image.

I have this exact issue also. I downloaded like 6 new trailers and only one of them actually played back. Everything else was a black image also. Including the disappearance of 1080p trailers a few weeks back, I don't know why Apple is screwing up the iTunes movie trailers so badly.
Same problem. So far I've had playback problems with one of the Captain Phillips trailer (the one posted in August) and all of The Mortal Instruments. Happening on multiple computers. I think Apple will have to fix this one on their end. Wouldn't hurt to post which trailers were having this problem in case anyone who can fix it reads this thread.
Ok, well in that case I've had the problems with the following:
The Hobbit: The Desotilation of Smaug
300: Rise of an Empire
The Family
The Wolf of Wall Street
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
The Spectacular Now
This problem still persists with Godzilla, Guardians of the Galaxy and a number of others.
