Can anyone tell me how to restrict the sharing I somehow turned on? I want my kids to be able to access our music account, but right now every time they download a game or a photo it shows up on parents cell phones and all other linked devices.

Hello Antoinette,

You may have Automatic Downloads enabled on your iOS devices, which will download any purchased music, apps, and books to your devices. You can turn that off using these steps:

Enabling Automatic Downloads on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your device.
  2. Tap Sign In if you're not already signed in to the iTunes Store.
  3. Enter your Apple ID and password.
  4. Tap On/Off switch to enable or disable Automatic Downloads for each content type.

You can find the full article here:

iTunes Store: How to enable Automatic Downloads

The photos you are seeing may be due to Photo Stream being enabled. You may need to disable Photo Stream on specific devices. This article has steps to disable Photo Stream in iPhoto and in iOS devices:
