Macbook Pro wont output HDMI signal to Panasonic tv

Hey,

So I tried to watch some movies from my macbook pro.

But when I connect the macbook to the tv (Panasonic) with my HDMI adapter the screen on my macbook turns blue for a couple of seconds and then return normal meanwhile nothing happens on the tv - it just stays black.

I have tried to connect my macbook with the HDMI adapter to another tv and it worked. So I'm confused that it wont work on the Panasonic tv.

My macbook software is Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)

And it's a Macbook Pro 13'', ultimo 2011.

Does anybody knows what's wrong?

I would appreciate it if anybody could solve this problem for me.
