Hi all,i had an iphone 4s 32gb which i obviously backed up,now i have a iphone 5 but its only 16gb,obviously i would like as much as poss from my last back up point as it had messages ,calender stuff etc ,is there a way to use this restore point and if so will it just not transfer music films etc?

Really? i just tried a restore and it said i was over by 12gb
Media, apps, and pics/vids have never been included in the backup. Media and Apps are designed to be housed in the iTunes library on the computer and synced to the device.
Pictures/Videos taken with the device are designed to be copied off the device regularly as would be done with any digital camera.
help with old restore point needed
