When I open some of the Apps on my IPod, they open for a second then close automatically. For example when I open my email account, I can see the emails but when I try to open any of them I am returned automatically to the home screen. Tried getting into settings, again opens for a second then throws me out!
But this is not happening with every App. Any ideas?

Contact the developer/go to their support site if only one app.
Restore from backup. See:
Restore to factory settings/new iPod
Press and hold the sleep button until the slide to power off swipe bar appears, then release the button.
Now, press and hold the Home button until the phone returns to the home screen.
