Shared iCloud calendar colour keeps changing

I haven't had this problem for a while, but this week my the calendar my wife shares with me in iCloud keeps changing colour.

I am running iOS 6.1.3 and we have had the shared calendars set up for ages. Now no matter what i do her calander displays as blue, even though it is yellow when i log into iCloud on the web.

When I change to colour to purple on either my iPad or iPhone the colour changes on the web iCloud calendar but displays as blue in iCal on my mac, and in iCal on both my iPad and iPhone.

I haven't added any other new calendars or accounts recently, so I have no idea why this is happening (again)

Anyone else having this problem and/or found a solution?

This morning iCal automagically reverted to the colors I had the day before yesterday. I opened iCal on my phone first thing this morning and the new (incorrect) colors were still there. They quickly updated to the old colors I had assigned before once it finished its sync.

Launched desktop and found colors were still incorrect, so I changed the "Home" calendar back to my preferred green (from blue) and Work immediately blinked back to my preferred red (from purple) without my intervention.

So far it has held the whole day.

Fingers crossed.

iPhone 5, OS 6.1.4, no calendars added, deleted, or changed in months. Similar symptoms. My green turns to light blue. On an iCloud calendar, not a subscribed calendar. Those seem fine. Just started yesterday like many posters have noted. I don't have orange and I have not seen an issue with yellow yet.

Given they just updated iCloud beta yesterday, this seems too big a coincidence for so many to have these problems.

Now that I think about it, this all started for a me a bit earlier when I agreed to be part of the early beta release of iWork web interface (which never worked...)

Still happening for me, none of the suggestions so far have worked. I have just accepted that icloud has decided that my wifes calander is going to be blue and rearranged my colours... very annoying.

After reading one of the posts from someone who fixed his/her issue, I set my iPad colors back to what I had them as originally and then just plugged it into my PC for a little while and didn't do anything else, but the changes seem to have stopped now. My iPhone had never shown a problem from what I noticed, but I had charged it from the computer, so that was probably why. You can't get much of an easier fix than this if it works for others like it did for me! FYI, I only left the iPad connected to my PC for about a half an hour - for all I know, five minutes would have worked just as well.

I probably shouldn't post something that could be in the "too good to be true" category, but my iCal colors have been stable on my iMac, iPad 4 and iPhone 5 since the last time I simply changed the color of the affected calendar back to the desired one. This was about 14 hours ago. I had tried this a few times on all devices during the time the problem persisted, and it never held for more than a few minutes. So maybe the issue has been fixed by Apple. We'll see.

Yes, mine is significantly improved though still not quite sorted. It is now only one shared calendar (owned by my wife, not me) which is changing between her colour for it and mine.

The names are still changing though for both, even though the colour is stable on her other shared calendar. I'm not quite so bothered about that, it just mildly irritates me as I'm so fussy!!

Mine has mostly sorted itself out, but not entirely. My green is no longer changing to light blue. However, a shared calendar - not subscribed - just shared iCloud calendar is still changing from dark blue to light blue only during a sync. When the sync is over, it reverts back to dark blue.

If I hit the "calendars" button during the sync, I can see that it's changed from dark blue to "custom", which happens to be light blue. This is what was also happening to green yesterday and late on the 14th. My guess is Apple has somewhat fixed the issue and there's not really much any of us can do about it until they get it fixed entirely.

We are having this color problem as well. We have 6 calendars we HAVE to keep separate. Every time I add an event in any calendar it changes to blue. Also, has anyone noticed how SLOW iCal is recently??? It used to update on all devices very quickly. Now, it takes 15-30 minutes sometimes to update on our devices. It used to be about 10 seconds. What the heck???!

I'm having the same problem with calendar. 2 of my shared calendars keep changing colors and names of calendars to what the person I'm sharing with has them set to. It's only happening on my IOS devices. It's very annoying as I depend on colors to differentiate calendars. I sent Apple an email a couple of weeks ago regarding this matter.

I'm really hoping this is resolved soon as one of the calendar color changes is the same color of a personal calendar I use. This has been going on over a month. I had thoughts of just going with the colors that the calendars keep changing to then decided No, I shouldn't have to.
