Oct 17, 2013 8:08 AM in response to RaySatby DavisNW,RaySat I am not sure if you write in an official capacity.
I posted this a couple of days ago and have been surprised not to get any response at all.
It strikes me that this has a similar root cause to the colour changing problem.
BUT .. 15/10/13 I discovered that events are self deleting.
That is massively unacceptable.
Trust me, I know how to use iCal and I have been using Macs since 1985.
The exact situaiton is:
iCal hosted on iPhone5 running OS 6.latest
iCal linked via iCloud to 3 other computers and 1 iPhone 4S none of which is manned.
and to 1 MacPro (Mountain Lion latest) is on my desk and has full access to calendar.
I enter a new event on the MacPro and Accept it.
It appears in the MacPro calendar and then spontaneously disappears (within a second).
Let's be clear: No Way, No Way etc. is this acceptable. It is frustrating that colours change, but this is massively unacceptable.
Thanks

I simply had the same color change problem as the others.
Mine got fixed and I was curious if it was just me and random, but I'm really hoping the events wont be self deleting for me and others too.
Yikes! I'm backing up my iCal imediatly.
This is in no way acceptable.

Oct 17, 2013 12:54 PM in response to SteveHarveyby mer_uk,Mine seems to be fixed too and I haven't noticed any problems with appointments disappearing.
One thing I would point out though is that one of my calendars had changed to public, and I have never used that facility so iCloud appears to have changed that itself. I've changed it back and it is now staying private, but it may be worth you all double checking yours...

Oct 17, 2013 4:05 PM in response to mer_ukby MDJCM,Thanks, how do you check whether a calendar is public?
