Upgrading from logic pro 9 to x: will there ever be a discount?
I recently bought logic pro 9 and want 10, but there doesn't seem to be a upgrade option. Is there one I'm missing or will there ever be one?

No. There is no upgrade pricing or version
The cost to buy or upgrade is identical because there is no upgrade version. It''s the full version or nothing.,.. (Just like every other App on the App Store) and the cost of the full version of Logic Pro X is pretty much the same or less than most other DAWs charge for a version upgrade..

All that anyone needs to decide is.. Is Logic Pro X worth $200 to you? If it is, then purchase it and if not, then don't and stick with your previous version of Logic until such time as it is worth it to you to buy it.
