How can I get my MacBook to turn on?

My Mac book no longer turns on. I tried resetting it as well as removing the battery. None Of these efforts have helped. I recently replaced the battery. So, as far as I know ithat isn't the issue. I need to complete some work , so any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
