I just downloaded Breaking Bad Season Pass but it won't give me the option of watching-it shows that it has been purchased

You watch videos from the Video app, not from the iTunes app. Is that where you're trying to watch them?

There are only 8 episodes in season that first part of season 5. The inal 8 episodes haven't aired yet and will be available one each week starting August 11. There is a seperate season pass to buy for those final 8 episodes.

So you will need to buy two season passes, one for the first eight seasons and one for the final 8.

You likely purchased the pass for the final 8 episodes which are not available yet because they haven't aired yet.

Because it has not been at least 24 hours since it aired.

Sometimes they are late in handing them to the iTunes store. I've seen episodes arrive a few weeks late. I believe this has happened where an episode of Breaking Bad didn't arrive till sometime the next day. Remember, it can't show up in the store if the network hasn't provided it yet.

It's only about 30 minutes late. It's 1:30AM here and they usually show up at about 1:10AM or so and I am in Colorado. That is the typicak time because I usually am awake to download them from any shows that I like.

It isn't usually 24 hours since it aired. The Walking Dead would always be available right at 12 Pacific... I am pretty disappointed. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known we were going to have to wait so long after for it to be available.

YOu are correct about the times they are usually available in the store but it's up to the network to provide the episode. How can iTunes have it if the network hasn't provided the episode?

It will be released soon. Go to sleep and it may be there when you wake up.... or not.

There seems to be an issue with this particular episode since a few people are complaining about it.

But it does boil down to the studio that made the show getting iTunes the file. iTunes can't upload what they don't have. And you can't download what they don't have uploaded.

Sometimes the first episode's release is rocky.

Patience.

It is available now to download. See, sometimes it just takes a little time for the episode to arrive and you need some patience. Next time this happens, and it will, go to sleep.

But that is the timeframe Apple has given as when TV shows will be available.

The latest episode is still unavailable for me here in the UK.
