You may need to do this more than once.
I do not want to reset all of my data, i just want to unlock my iphone.
The only way to unlock it without remembering the passcode is to restore your phone. I know it's frustrating but it's the only way =(

So i cant just go to iTunes and reset my password?
Unfortunately, no. It's designed this way because if you could change your passcode via iTunes, then anyone would be able to change it, with or without your knowledge.
