Q: If a I put my lost iPhone into lost lost via find my phone app will it still lock it as it says offline

Basically I went to put my iPhone 4 into lost mode and it said offline (which means they signed out my apple id ) put I clicked lost mode and anyway will it still lock even if it is offline

iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.3
