Dotted lines in flow chart

My wireless network seems to be working fine but I noticed that the Airport Expresses I use to extend my network are connected graphically by dotted lines and below my Time Capsule within my Airport Utility picture. I'm pretty certain solid is hard-wired and dotted means wireless. The reason for my concern is that two of the three Airport Express units are hard-wired yet show they dotted lines. Is that correct or do I have a problem?

I appreciate your response form the other side of the planet.

Since I recall solid lines connecting the wired units on my network (before I reconfigured things because I changed ISPs) I was concerned when dotted lines appeared. Having said that though, everything seems to work fine in all areas of my house. In Airport Utility under the Network tab it shows all are in bridge mode and the options there are greyed out so I couldn't switch it to some other mode. If I have a problem, what would it be? I'm trying to stay ahead of any issues.

Thanks!

Yes, us bottom of the world dwellers get the .. view of everything.

Do you have ethernet cables plugged into the expresses? If not you are fine.

If you do.. there is something wrong.. unplug the ethernet and tell us what happens.

If you are happy and everything is working... I would totally ignore what 6.3 does.. everyday I start my laptop with Mountain Lion and 6.3 utility and everything moves all over the screen.. they do it for variety I think. Some days it is vertical .. some days they are horizontal .. some days they have most of them or even all of them out.. it seems to mean nothing.

Well, I unplugged the ethernet cable to one of the units and saw no change at all in the graphic representation on Airport Utility. Hmmmmm. I wonder if that means there's no signal going to the cables at all. Somehow I doubt it as they worked fine before my ISP change and none of those cable were involved in that change. All of the other settings are correct and as I said initially, all is working fine with my network so maybe I should just stop worrying and enjoy apparent success.

Cheers.
