I have 4 updates in app icon but when I open it and try to hit update the screen stays blank
My app icon on my ipad shows 4 updates available but when I click on it to open the screen is blank

There seems to be a problem that Apple is having regarding App updates. There are numerouse posts regarding this problem. My suggestion is to just wait until Apple rectifies this problem.
