I see that I have 5 updates in the App Store, when I go to update them nothing shows up. I have closed the App Store a few times and it continually does the same thing

I am having the same problem. I do not have an answer though.
It is unlikely that hundreds of users have iPads acquiring the same problem at the same time. The fault is at Apple's end. It is also unlikely that there is any urgency at all to update any apps. They'll work perfectly well as they always have, until Apple sorts itself out.
App Store updates??
