I'm just wondering is there any good security software for the ipad. I do everything from my iPad. Thus meaning I use it daily. I know that there is VirusBarrier, but I've seen mixed reviews about it. My children use my iPad and play on the web. Does this mean that the ipad could get some type of malware/virus on it? I don't want to connect it to my PC and transfer a virus of some sort. Could someone help me please? Thanks in advance.

Unless you jailbreak an Apple iDevice, you don't need any security software. Since the iOS and app apps can only be downloaded from Apple's site, and Apple screens apps, there are no viruses or malware. A virus can't be transfered from a connected computer.

Thanks. It's not jailbroken. I'm just wondering because my son went a a bad page yesterday. Im pretty sure the page probably was malware and I was worried it infected my iPad.
As Texas Tom wrote, no need to worry. There is nothing on your iPad to infect. You may feel that a web page is bad for your son, but it can't be bad for your iPad.
