did i still buy the song even if i cancel my download in itunes?

I bought a song in iTunes but when I tried to play it in my iPad while it was downloading I cancelled it immediately because it was not the song I was looking for. Do you think it still counts as purchased even if I cancelled the download and gets money from my debit card? Please help.
