TNT tracking & refund question

This is not strictly MacBook-related, but it doesn't fit anywhere else either.
I ordered a MacBook last Friday (the second one, by the way, I had to send the first one back). Yesterday (Monday), I got the usual e-mail telling me that it was sent. Tracking number was given as well. Now, everytime I want to track it, TNT tells me that my number doesn't exist. It worked well the last time, so I'm a little worried that Apple has messed up my order. Or is it normal that TNT is a little slow and tracking doesn't work for the first couple of days?

That's my first question. My second question is about the refund policy of Apple:
As I said, I sent my first MacBook back within the 14-day period. This time tracking worked, so I know for sure that the MacBook was delivered. If Apple indeed refunds the money (which I hope), will I get some kind of confirmation, i.e. an e-mail or a letter?

I am in the same situation only now after three days the TNT page now acknowledges my new tracking number.

My MB has a "week 24" serial number and was built on Monday the 12th of June. It left China today and hopefully it will be here before too long.

Keep trying the tracking number it will work in the end.

Regarding the 14 day buyer's remorse period, I'm sure that the same applies to your new MB also from the date it will be delivered.

Don't worry just yet :o) I don't know if you can see when they processed the return, but I do know it takes a few days to credit the money back. I know this from past experience and even from this time. I wanted my replacement NOW, so I chose to charge the replacement to a different card (the only one I had when I called in the middle of teaching a class). I got home and realized I'd chosen badly and should have used another card with lower interest. I called back, and they switched the charge to a third card :o). By the next day I was seeing the charge on all three cards...dang that's a lot of money! Anyhow, calls to Apple and the banks assured me that it takes some time, and I guess I know this from returning things in actual stores. Plus bank transactions don't show up on weekends, so give it a few days. Call Apple if you want to check. I probably would because I'm like that and I wouldn't be able to rest until I knew I hadn't ended up buying two! Or, in my case, three!

So, did you ever get your refund? I actually have a question for you, now. Mine reached Apple today, and I'm curious how long it took before you saw it switch from "return pending" to something else. Yes, I'm still stressing about paying for two :o) The good thing is the replacement I got is fantastic!! As soon as I get the refund, I'll really be happy...

I saw your post, and checked my credit card. Lo and behold, the money has been credited!! It took five days by my calculations. Oddly enough, they didn't credit $15.90, and I can only assume this is because of either the promotional discount (save an extra $30...though that doesn't add up) or because I forgot to return the extension cord (3 prong) that goes with the adapter. Either way, I'm happy that I didn't end up paying for more than one! Thanks again!
