Q: I've done all the troubleshooting, and I still cannot get the Airplay icon to appear on either of my iOS devices.

We just installed a new Apple TV for the purpose of linking it to my iPad and iPhones.  After numerous attempts neither of my devices will display the Airplay icon.  I've followed all the troubleshooting suggestions, but nothing seems to work.  Any ideas?

I have an iPhone 4S, an iPad 2, and an iPad 4. I set them all up the same. My iPhone4S and my iPad 2 will not display the icon. However, my iPad 4 will. As a matter of fact, I am watching myself type this on my TV.

It is my consideration that Apple has misrepresented. The connectivity of older devices with the latest AppleTV.

Just say in', this would not be occurring if SJ were still around.
