Current displays with G3, PM7600?

Moving soon, gotta cut down on my computer clutter. Painful as it is 🙂

I should probably let the old Macs go, but I don't really want to. If I don't, the question then is: is it possible and reasonable to connect a current flat display, such as my Dell U2412M, to a beige G3 desktop? What about a Power Mac 7600? Much as I revere my old NEC Multisync 70 17" CRT, it seems ridiculous to move it if I don't need to. I've forgotten most of my computer video lingo re: types of connections and all that.

Quick reply(ies) would be much appreciated, I need to push myself on this. Thanks.

Power Mac G5 2.0 (late '05), two PM 7600s (bless 'em), beige G3, CDMA iPhone 4, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

The G3 can take one of the newer VGA or DVI connected flat screen monitor if you can find and install a PCI slot video card. The PCI video cards are faster than the G3’s on board video.

If you have access to Amazon.com or eBay you can find these videos card here

Here are some that'll work in your G3.

Here's the original ATI PCI Radeon Mac Editon 32 MB VRAM card. This is a better 32 MB video card for your G3 than the later ATI 7000 Radeon PCI Mac Editon video card.
