My new iphones sound doesn't work!

So I just got my iPhone a few days ago and put a life proof case on.. The charger slot opened and water got in and my ringer levels won't come up just the box.. When calls come through it makes sounds but texts,music,lock sounds and keyboard sounds don't make any sound just vibrates.. I reset my settings and I don't know what to do. Please help! Thanks. (Ps is this permanent??)
