The computer is connected to the interent with an ethernet cable I guess. You can have itunes on your computer and you can connect to your ipad to the computer with a usb cable to sync and transfer content to you ipad but without wifi available for your ipad it limits what you can do on your ipad. For ecxample you cant surf the internet on your ipad

Jul 28, 2013 8:47 PM in response to ajayakumarby Allan Eckert,I take you are talking about an ethernet cable when you say broadband land line. Since the iPad doesn't have an ethernet connection it can't be done.

Hook that up to your broadband line ( Internet line, Ethernet cable), and then you can have a wifi network in your house. Your iPad can then have a "wifi" connection, and you'll be surfing the Internet in no time. Go to best buy and purchase a network router. It's the way to go so your iPad can connect. Make sense?
