Q: I have worked out how to use the keynote remote over wifi, but I haven't been able to get it to connect through Bluetooth, any suggestion please?

I would appreciate advice on how to connect my keynote remote on my iPhone to keynote on my iPad

    Hi JTandLC,

     

    Not sure what you are asking? Keynote, like the app? If that is what you mean, then Bluethooth has nothing to do with sharing it between devices. You would do that via iCloud. If you have the app running on both devices, and you have iCloud signed on on both devices with Documents turned to = ON, then as long as you have a Wifi connection, it will push the updates to the app between devices via iCloud.

    Hi GB,

     

    I'm very happy to report that I've worked out a solution.

     

    By turning on the personal hotspot on my iPhone and connecting the iPad to the hotspot all works perfectly.

     

    The problem was, trying to use the keynote remote on the iPhone to control keynote on the iPad.

     

    It works perfectly in wifi and now I know it works perfectly in personal hotspot.

     

    Having since read other posts on this issue, I see Bluetooth also worked until iOS 5 came out and hasn't since.
