Should i always connected my MAC to the power cable when i don't run the MAC?

Hi,
I use to always plug in the MAC power cable in power slot, when i don't run it. Should i always disconnected my MAC to the power cable when i don't run the MAC or not? Does it makes any danger to the MAC?

It won't cause a problem to the Mac, but you are wasting energy. I recommend you to unplug the Mac from the power adapter in order to save energy, but the Mac won't get damaged
