Jul 29, 2013 5:19 AM in response to mende1by pcheek,I've checked that number against the number shown on the about apple screen too and its the same, when typed in though it comes up as not recognised? I've cut and paste from the about apple screen and also re typed it in manually, no luck.

If your MacBook was purchased less than 14 days ago, you can return it and get a new one free of charge
