Can i play dota 2 on macbook pro 13 inch?

Yes you can play dota 2 on your macbook pro i have it on mine and it runs really well with almost no lag at all. although the bottom of the computer does get really really hot and almost makes me want to stop playing. id suggest getting one of those cooler things you can buy and put on the bottom of your mac when doing heavy gaming. and as far as upgrades you can make, theres none really specific to gaming ik of except for obviously i7 and more ghz and ram which will ultimately help your computer with gaming overall but isnt as direct to gaming such as a graphics card or anything. hope this helped!

ok ! so you need to disable that function from your settings. enter settings--> keyboard. in the middle of the screen you can see that setting

i recently buy a macbook pro 13inch with 4gb and 500gb .. and i installed a steam and dota 2 .. it's little bit lag whne i go to battlefield .. how about the f1 controls etc .. when i press it .. instead of going to my hero it's adjust the brightness .. please help me ..

I'm having this problem on my MacBook Pro 13 inch mid 2009 while playing dota 2.

When I'm about to play it is so lagggggyyyyyyy like I can't land a skill. I have fast consistent internet and I'm trying to download bootcamp to see if it will fix my problem. Any suggestion everyone?

I had the same problem. Turn down the quality and the anti-aliasing, and a few other things. I did that and it works great. I have mid-12' 8 gigs of ram and intel 4000. The graphics aren't as good, but they are still decent.

You can ask your mac to have regular function keys.

Go to > System Preferences > keyboard > and check in Use al F1, F2 as standart function keys.

I already did that .. I'm really dissapointed though, i should earn more money to buy a razer or i should bought alienware instead of macbook pro ..
