when i try to setup my time capsule it ask me about pppoe what dose it mean ?
That is usually for ADSL but is used for some other connections like fiber sometimes.. PPPoE is only used with a bridged or pure modem... it is not used otherwise..
PPPoE is involved in authentication of your service. ie the modem makes a link but you need to use a username and password for secure access.. and encapsulate the data between the internet and client device.
If you have a modem router.. simply select bridge mode for the TC setup.
Give us more info if you need to setup the TC with a pure modem.. we need exact type of broadband.. and actual model numbers also helps.
