Do I need to move my photos from my photo stream folder on my PC to another folder so they dont get deleted when I remove them from my Ipad or iphone?

Hi I have enabled photostream on my Ipad, Iphone and my PC. When I take a picture with my iphone it does go to all three devices. However, do I need to move them out of my photostream folder on my PC to another folder to keep them from getting deleted? I tried deleting a photo from my ipad and it also removed it from from PC.

Then do I have to manually go in and delete them off my ipad and my iphone?
