No - it is not possible to increase the storage
capacity of any model iPod.

Nope. sorry. If you want more capacity that you've
got (and it's unclear in your original post which
model iPod you actually have), you need to buy a
larger capacity iPod.

It appears that you're considering purchasing a 30gb
5th generation iPod. In your original post, you
called it an iPod nano - the nano is a different
iPod. Also, you have posted this topic in the "iPod
with color display' forum, which is actually designed
for the fourth generation color iPods. That's why I
was confused.


The iPod does not have a USB port. You can use an
external USB drive to back up your music throught
your computer, using iTunes though. Is this what
you're asking?

The iPod has a dock connector port, which includes a
connection to USB to communicate with a computer.
ITh eiPOd does not have bluetooth or IR capability.

You cannot increase the storage capacity of the iPod.
